Accountant I (24641)


  • Prepare journal entries such as payroll expense, prepaid amortization, and fixed asset depreciation.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks related to the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Assist with monthly Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements
  • Assist with miscellaneous financial analysis and ad hoc reporting, as necessary
  • May be required to work on special projects as determined by the Accounting Manager, Controller, or CFO

Required Qualifications - About you:

We are looking for candidates who possess the combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of practical accounting/financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
